The most important parameters for the product development were to create modern and emotionally-influenced products, whilst harmonizing with brand tradition and to stress the character of traditional manufacture, exploiting high standards of craftsmanship and special production techniques. Therefore picking up lithophanie as an old technique of industrial art and translating it into a modern language of decoration was the basis for very exclusive products with a specific charm and charisma: Precious Moments is a series of cups for different hot drinks – its outstanding element is an universal saucer with a translucent relief. Lithophanie with geometrical and floral ornaments turn mugs with a simple form into precious objects. The interesting effects of light and shadow are even more entrancing with the suspended lampshades.
